“The previous reviewer is a customer who is trying to get out of paying for a lot of work that Leo performed yet was never paid for. Leo would NEVER wire something incorrectly and it doesn't even make sense that a roof would leak after someone replaced the VENT LIDS. He did hours of work on her older motorhome and didn't charge her what he should have. Instead of being grateful that the work was done so well and for such a good price, she is trying to skip out on her bill. We have been in business since 1995 and this is the first person we have ever turned in to a collection agency for non-payment. Most of our customers value us as much as we value them. ” -

DO NOT USE...BUSINESS IS A SCAM
“This business is a scam. They come to your home and ask for the money for the part or parts needed up front and NEVER come back to do the work. They don't retrun phone calls and even hide when you go to his home (which is also his office). Do not use this business” -

Poor work, over-charged, and lacked knowledge
“I bought an older motorhome that I was assured by the seller was in superior condition except the tires and the refrigerator. I hired a mechanic to replace all of the parts in the engine, fix the brakes, and go through the mechanical parts of the van. I interviewed several RV places and asked them to give me a price on what it would cost to go through the coach. Merrick said he would do it for under $100, and let me know what all needed to be replaced. I told him that I had $200 to do repairs at this time. He had the van for 6 weeks. During that time, he told me that it needed a new water pump and the water pump would be around $125 to replace including labor and parts. I asked him to rewire the trailer brakes so that it would fit a flat 4 from a round connector. He did wire it to a flat 4, but he wired the hot brake wire to the ground. He replaced the plastic vents but did not replace any gaskets. Though the roof did not leak before, it leaked after he replaced the vents. He replaced the shower, but not the shower holder. Now the shower cannot be left on the wall because it shoots water across the bathroom. Then he messed with the wiring. The house batteries won't charge from driving it any longer. When I arrived, he wanted $697 instead of $200. Not once did he ever tell me he was well over the $200 mark (the refrigerator was fixed by Redline and I paid them $450 directly--so that was not included in the $697). I tried to talk to Leo about this situation, but he insisted that he gave me a great deal by only charging me $45 an hour for labor. What makes this worse is he insists that I should be grateful to him for this great deal, even though I have had to pay hundreds of dollars to fix what he did, and he did a $497 of work that I never approved to begin with. Now he's yelling that I do this for a living. I don't know what he means by this, but I assume he means I go around getting people to work on motorhomes and not pay them. I am really sorry I ever met Leo or took my van to him. I have paid him $200 and the $450 for the fridge. I have not paid him the $497 he charged over, and he has been unwilling to work out a better price. ”
